With only 30+ days to my next cruise, I read this book to prepare myself. It put me in the right frame of mind. Panama Canal here we come. The book provides lots of insight and tips I'll put to use. I just need to win lotto so I'll have the money for all the cruises I want to take. I read this book after reading the first cruise tips book. I'll be ordering another of Deb's books. I highly recommend these books for everyone, even if you don't plan on cruising but would like to learn about a cruise vacation.Product details

I am doing my research prior to booking a cruise for the first time. I loved Deb's first book, The Cruise Addicts Wife, and enjoyed this just as much. She provides wonderful insight into the inner workings of the cruise industry while explaining the different aspects of cruising. I'll definitely be a well informed cruise passenger! I also feel much less intimidated by the many decisions that need to be made prior to booking. Deb provides information in a concise manner with a great sense of humor.
I highly recommend reading Deb' s book as she has a wealth of knowledge to share! If this is your first cruise or the 10th, you will pick up ideas that will enhance your vacation.
I enjoyed reading this book just as much as the first cruise tips book written by Deb. There were several items I thought should have been elaborated on in the first book, such as the muster drill. She was quick to discuss this item and other missed ones in this book! I loved the funny stories and anecdotes about other cruisers and port experiences, definitely had me chuckling! The only negative thing I didn't like were some of the passing comments made about other cruisers/ways of doing things on cruises-some of them were a little judgmental. But sometimes this just can't be helped, depending on the topic. Thanks for a great read, Deb!
I read this book after I read her first book and this was one just as good, with even more added tips and resources. Deb Graham's writing is very entertaining and down-to-earth. I enjoyed both books quite a bit and feel they were definitely worth the money. Thanks, Deb!
Yeah...donated this book to Good Will without reading it, as I read quite a bit of the first one until it was evident that this is a home project, self-published, non-proofread [ie. much similiarity and actual repetition plus spelling/grammatic errors]...it was more like listening to a neighbor brag.
Another great book that is loaded with useful information for both First Time Cruisers and veteran cruisers. My wife and I took our first cruise on the Carnival Valor in June 2017, which was a fabulous initiation into the joys of cruising. The tips in Deb's came in handy and I know that I will be referring to it off during our next cruises and, yes, we are looking forward to more cruises in the near future.
